iCashbook Privacy Policy
iCashbook has created this privacy policy in order to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy. Privacy on the iCashbook web site is of great importance to us. Because we gather important and sensitive customer information, and all customers must be comfortable their data is being held and treated confidentially and appropriately. This policy statement should be read in conjunction with, and forms part of, the iCashbook Terms and Conditions.
What information is collected?
Only information necessary to conduct business with you, to assist with billing and communications, will be collected. You will be able to change that information at any time.
What security standards and audits apply to my data and information?
All data is stored in secure computer facilities that are subject to security audits and checks by accredited and authorised security experts in accordance with Bank security requirements. All sensitive and identifiable data is held in an encrypted manner and no individual or company information is available to other parties. All data transferred between a computer used to access the internet and iCashbook’s computer servers is encrypted. Logons and passwords are stored securely and iCashbook staff do not have access to those logon and password records.
Who owns the data and information?
iCashbook stores all the necessary and relevant information that is required for customers to use iCashbook. iCashbook acts only as the custodian of the data and information held. Customers own the information and any data that is entered manually or automatically into the system.
How long is my data and information held?
All data entered by customers is held as long as iCashbook subscriptions are current. Customers may request their information to be completely removed from the iCashbook databases at any time, and in particular when a customer chooses to discontinue using the iCashbook service. Data is also retained for ‘Archived’ companies and accounts.
Will the information be used for anything else?
iCashbook collects aggregated information to monitor and manage the system and system performance. Aggregated information may from time to time be used to review trends, analyse markets and track business progress. All individual, company or customer data or information will not be identified in any aggregated information.
Who has access to my data and information?
- Customers: Customers have access to reports and information that may be downloaded at any time. A number of data export facilities are provided for customers to obtain electronic copies of their transactional information. Customers are responsible for the security of that data once downloaded from iCashbook
- Authorised Users: Customers may nominate within iCashbook authorised users and/or third parties to have access to their information. This is solely at the customer’s choice and can be fully controlled by the customer.
- iCashbook Staff: Customers may authorise iCashbook staff to access their data and information on a needs basis to assist resolve any queries and issues.
What about my Credit Card details?
Credit Card details are not stored and cannot be accessed by iCashbook. iCashbook uses Direct Payment Solutions to store and bill your credit card on a recurring basis as instructed by you under the iCashbook Terms and Conditions. What about customer communications, news and product updates?
iCashbook offers its visitors and customers a means to choose how we communicate information and updates. If, at any time after subscribing to iCashbook you change your mind about receiving information from us, send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply send your request to support@iCashbook.com.
What if my information changes?
If customers need to update or change registration information, they may do so by editing the user record. To update a User Profile, log on to iCashbook and select Update User Profile update information.
Policy may be updated.
iCashbook reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time as the need arises. All changes will be notified via the website. Continued use of iCashbook by the customer will be deemed acceptance of the new policy by them.
